She is the former food editor of The Atlanta Journal Constitution and The Tennessean, has authored two previous food books (Cooking in the New South and Food Gifts for All Seasons), and hosted a radio show, Food Bites, on WNAH-AM in Nashville, Tennessee -- the heart of the Cake Belt -- where she lives with her family.
