Email story

My grandmother was always a "from scratch" cook. We never even had boxed mac and cheese. I followed in her footsteps and became a great cook. I bought The Cake Mix Doctor to give it a try, and I'm hooked on it. I still do a lot of "from scratch" baking, but I'm always being asked to do a cake for someone's birthday. More often than not they pick out somthing from the original Cake Mix Doctor book. I love making the Lethal Peppermint Chocolate Cake. I just did it for a Halloween party and made a spider web pattern on top of the chocolate granche with some of the peppermint filling thinned out. Then I topped it with an orange spider. It was great.
