What Can I Bring? Cookbook

I have been to TWO Borders bookstores in the last few days and neither of them had the book, which was supposedly released about a week ago! Yes, I know I can order it from Amazon, but I was hoping to look before I buy. I wonder if it's just selling extremely well, or is there an inventory problem? Has anyone else had difficulty?

Hi, I haven't checked the bookstores for the book, so I don't know of places to buy them in physical stores. I order most of my books online, and am waiting for this one to arrive in the mail. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Thanks for bringing this up. We'll definitely look into it if it appears a lot of people are having trouble finding the book. Can't have that! It could be any number of things, but we'll try to get to the bottom of it.

Not sure if you have a Barnes and Nobles near you, bakingfiend, but you can go to www.bn.com, look up the book, and then check to see if there are any copies in a store near you.

I did find copies at the Borders near me, but they were on the bottom shelf and very hard to see...

I work in a Borders. A lot of time the dates posted on websites (including Workman) is a ship date, and not an actual in-store date. As a general rule, unless it's something like a Grisham or Patterson with an actual Street Date, then I don't trust dates on websites.

We got our books, but it wasn't until a week later, when we got our big shipment the following Friday.
