In December 2004 the following recipe was posted on the CMD board by akid4ever. Yesterday I baked this pound cake and received raves from DH! I love it, too! Passing this on again for anyone who might want to give this a try. YUMMY!

Thanks for bringing this recipe to the top. I have tried a couple Bailey's recipes in the past and have never been happy with any of them so maybe this one should be next on my list... _________________ ~T. Martin |

T ~ This is the only Irish Cream pound cake recipe I've tried so I have no point of comparison. If you try this recipe I hope you're happy with the results. I baked mine in a standard Bundt pan for the full 70 minutes @ 325. _________________ ~KDS~ |

Mmm....Bailey's Irish Cream....
I'm traveling for the next 6 weeks with no access to a kitchen, but when I get back to my home -- let the baking begin! |

They're no pound cake but I made the Pistachio St. Patty's Day cupcakes out of the Cupcake book. They have Bailey's in the cupcakes and in the whipped cream frosting. I took them into the restaurant where DH works and everyone really loved them. They were nice and moist and the leftover frosting was delicious on my coffee! _________________ When life gives you lemons, make grape juice. | I made this cake for a family reunion. Instead of using Bailey's, I used Chocolate Temptation Liqueur. It was soooo good! Very moist. It made quite a hit. |
