Hi Everyone, made this cake today adding orange oil and everyone loved the cake. Since it was the first time I made this cake, I can't say the oil improved it, but it was good. Also, I liked the cherry oil in George's Brownies. It was the second time I made them and if possible, I liked them better with the stronger cherry flavor. If you need a special dessert, try George's brownies with the rasberry sauce, no one knows they are brownies! Think I'm going to continue using the oils in place of extract.
Happy Baking, Regina

Regina, this is one of my favorite cakes from the first book. I am really interested in buying some flavored oils. Did you order them on line or at a particular store? TIA for any information you can provide.

Debbie, if you have a store near you that sells Wilton products, they may carry the oils too. The arts and crafts stores in Northern Virginia carry all sorts of baking supplies. You can always get them on line if all else fails.
Good Luck, Regina
