Jen, I think you've outdone yourself this time. That Wall-E looks great!

I hope you'll make another post about the making of marshmallow fondant and how it turned out?

OK, nobody's been posting cake pix! Why not???

I made this cake for a good friend's bday party this weekend. Three cakes: white choc for bottom and top layers, with choc cream cheese and choc buttercream frostings; and dark choc w/ white and purple buttercream for middle. 12", 8" and 6". It was fun to design and make it for her. (I went with purple rolled buttercream for the diamonds.) I'm glad I left out a few baking pans, altho I had to dig thru a few boxes in the garage to find my ball pan. :P

Wonderful pix, Jen419! The Xmas one is gorgeous!

Here's my latest, for my baby's 8th bday, eep:

The DeathStar started to bulge out due to dense moist cakeage, so I say that it's right before it explodes in the movie. My son loved it, but I told him no more grey cakes! He has to pick something with color in it next time, so I don't have to give space such fake unrealistic coloring to make up for it, heh.

I love the Death Star cake. Spherical shapes are no small task, so really good job. I have a little boy, so I think a cake like that may be in my future.
