I had a holiday ornament exchange cancel only to be rescheduled for tomorrow. I need to bring a dessert and I'm at a loss as to what to bring. Something light since it's the first of the year, something spicy because it is an ornament exchange. I was thinking about a Cinnamon Cardamom Cake with a nut filling baked in a bundt. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Piper

We really like the Pineapple Angel Food Cake recipe which, I think, might be originally from Weight Watchers - http://www.thatsmyhome.com/healthy/weight-watchers/pineapple-angelfood-cake.htm. Folks don't realize that it's a low fat recipe. With low fat/no fat Cool Whip it's really good. It's not spicy, but, maybe somebody could figure out what to do.

There was a recent posting about the Honey Bun Cake. Especially if the event is in the morning...or in the early afternoon...or in the late afternoon with coffee... Okay, I just like this cake. :)
