Is there an error in the banana cake recipe (CMD p. 72)?

A whole cup of water with all that banana makes the runniest cake batter I've ever seen. Should it have only been half a cup?

Hmmmm...I don't seem to have any notes about the cake needing less liquid. Did you make the batter as-directed? If so, how did it turn out?

I added half a cup of flour. Just took them out of the pans, and they look good. We'll see tomorrow how they taste!
