An early Happy Mother's Day to all the moms (and moms to be) on the board. For all of those honoring moms this weekend, what special treats are you baking for your mom this weekend?

I am not near my mom to bake her anything special (she's getting a ($300 gift card to Nordstrom along with a pre-arranged personal shopping appointment plus this flower arrangement so she'll be well taken care of) but I am going to make a platter of goodies for the nurses at the hospital where I volunteer. A bunch of the things I'm making will be new (Junior Mint Brownies, Whole Foods recipe for Blueberry Almond Coffeecake) but if anything really stands out I'll be back Monday with a report.
