A friend of mine lost a recipe that she really loved. She can remember that you bake pound cake in 3 loaf pans so they are thin and you cut them into squares. The squares are then soaked or drizzled with either coffee or kaluha and coated with sugar. They don't get soggy. She said that she used to make them as gifts and that they kept well. She would really like to have this recipe again (I would like to try it too) She thinks she got the recipe from a magazine many years ago.
Thank you,
Mary
