I'm making a groom's cake for a chocoholic family, and need to please both the dark lovers and the milk lovers. I went with chocolate midnight for the dark half, and decided to do the same recipe with milk chocolate mix. I decided it should be called chocolate twilight cake. Vampires not included.
The cakes will be going in the freezer and appropriately ganached (dark for midnight, milk for twilight) for the rehearsal dinner on June 10.
I'll let you know how it turns out. And maybe I'll make a white chocolate version sometime and call it chocolate dawn cake!
