Where do you get Fig jam for the Pork Tenderloin recipe? I have been looking everywhere!
Thanks!

Hi Suzy -
If you find it, I'd love to know also.

I don't have a source for Fig Jam, but I found some recipes.

Fig Jam 1 from Ichef.

Fig Jam 2 from Recipe Source.

Fig Jam 3 from David Pascoe.

Hope these help.

I found fig jam/preserves at an Italian Market here in St. Louis - called Viviano's Imports. It is called "The Hill" area in St. Louis. Therefore, if you have an Italian neighborhood in your region that has speciality markets or even an international market hopefully you can locate it. I have not yet had a chance to make this Pork Tenderloin Recipe but I did see it in the Dinner Doctor and it sounded different so when I was shopping and saw the fig jam, I immediately snatched it up. If you do make this recipe, please post a review.

I've made the basic recipe twice, but with the variations (I'm a notorious doctor--it's hard for me to follow any recipe as it is given)--both times I loved the results. The first time I used mango salsa and balsamic. The second time I used apple cider, dijon mustard, and rosemary. The cooking time worked perfectly, and it really is a no-fuss treatment that lets the pork tenderloin shine!

I know I'm late to posting the answer on this thread, but I make Fig preserves for my family every other year. I make Strawberry Fig preserves. My grandmother gave me the recipe and I've been making it every since. I will alwaysremember her when I make them as well as eat them.
