Hi all,

With the holidays coming up I was wondering if anyone had a phenomenal Crab Dip or Spinach/Artichoke Dip recipe or any other type of dip I could use for a potluck. Please feel free to e-mail me privately or send me a PM.

TIA!

Hi Tia,

The spinach and artichoke dip that you asked for is on pages 22-23 of the Dinner Doctor! One of my most successful dips ever is the hot parmesan artichoke dip that is made by mixing 1 can (14 1/2 oz) artichoke hearts, drained, and chopped with 1 cup mayonaise, and 1 cup grated parmesan cheese. You just mix all ingredients and spoon into a 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and lightly browned. I serve it with crackers and carrot and celery sticks. It gets raves every time I make it, and the dish is empty in no time!!

Hi Taneka

I don't know if this is what you want, but here is a collection of 51 appetizers from Mr.Food. Some are dips, some are appetizers. There are 10 recipes per page and 6 pages. I hope you find something useful.

You might also check below on this board where stef asked about appetizers. I recall an artichoke recipe there. Also spinach.

Hi T - Here's a dip I make often.
Salmon Dip
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz canned salmon
2 TB lemon juice
1-2 TB minced onion
1 1/2 tsp horseradish
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper.
1-2 drops red food coloring
Sometimes I double it.

Thanks Barbara - I bought some Salmon Fillet Portions,(skinless/boneless)6oz.cans, at Sam's Club and have been trying to figure out how to use it.
Is the red food coloring necessary, or is it just for the appearance?
