I hope that you ladies can help out here. I have a severe allergy to honey.I can not eat it in any shape or drink; however, I have seen so many receips that call for honey. Is there any thing that I can use to sub. with? I know that someone must have a great idea that will not mess with the flavor, but still allow me to try out new ideas. Thank you very much.

I was not able to find information regarding switching from honey to anything else. However, I did find information for using honey in place of sugar. Maybe you can take the general "formula" and work it in reverse.

Hi Laura, I just looked on the net and this is what I have found.

Honey Substitute:

For 1 cup, use 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar plus 1/4 cup liquid (use
liquid called for in recipe); 1 cup molasses; 1 cup light or dark corn
syrup; or 1 cup pure maple syrup.
