The menu for Sunday is still a work in progress. I did find a good contact but he's not sending me food. Darn.
I have been emailing the food writer of the Seattle Weekly newspaper. His list included: wild salmon ...grilled or smoked (not lox), oysters (they are "gaga" over them, wild mushrooms...like chanterelle, Tillamook cheese(never heard of it),any dessert involving marionberries (don't know what they are either); Washington state apples; Washington wine (now that I do know about!) and a beer from a Seattle microbrewery.

We have some research to do. Any recipes are appreciated. We're having a LOT of fun...and you all are helping a bunch. Thanks again!

It's seems marionberries are also, grown and loved in Oregon. Click Here Aren't those gorgeous?

These berries are also, which I guess shouldn't come as any surprise, used to make BrandyIt looks like they even have an email shopping available for the brandy. If anyone tries it, please taste an tell.

Is it also, possible they get their cheese from Oregon? Click Here for Tillamook Cheese Cheese and wine... that makes sense. :D

I know Salmon is very popular in Washington, and is touted as the very best.

Well....it has taken me an entire day to get over the Panther's loss. They got hammered! Thank heavens for the wonderful food...at least the day wasn't a total loss. We had grilled salmon marinated in brown sugar, soy sauce & bourbon. Delicious! We added baked potatoes, sauteed spinach, salad and apple pie. We found a great Washington state wine but wished we'd bought more than 1 bottle. We needed it!

Thanks so much for all your input. It was so much fun!

Lyn, sorry about the loss. It was a nasty game, wasn't it? Glad you had some good food and decided on some NW foods. There is always next year!

Hope you recoup soon.
