Does anybody have a recipe for beef tips? (I am from NC and we called it peppered steak there.)

I am looking for one that I can put in the crockpot while at work and not have to worry about it.

Pepper Steaks

I'm from NC, and my mom used to make beef tips in the crock pot a lot. She would brown the chopped strips of sirloin in a pan, then put it in the crock pot with onion powder, garlic, and bouillon. Then she'd sautee green peppers and onions in the pan and add them to the pot with some broth to keep the meat moist. Presto, tasty winter meal after work.
