Applesauce Spice Cake for Johnny Appleseed Day

My 5-year-old daughter and I had a wonderful time making your Applesauce Spice Cake for her class' Johnny Appleseed Day celebration today. The Caramel Brown Sugar Glaze was a perfect and most-scrumptious topping. Mrs. Hilton, the kindergarten teacher, made a sweeping bow before me when I picked my daughter up from school AND begged for the recipe. I'd better watch out, or she may start thinking that I can really bake!
